Ruthie Ray
(Margene Ray) I got her as a young pup, from the Dane County Humane Society. She was a crazy, wild, sweet as EVERYTHING rat terrier. She was tri-colored and had the most perfect heart shape on her back side when she sat.
We lived together for 11 years, before what turned out to be a cancerous tumor in her stomach forced me to have to send her to a more peaceful place.
I called her Boom-Boom a lot, and we saw each other through many a hard time, and some really good ones.
She was loved unconditionally by many, none more than my Mom, her Grandma.
The hole that remains in me from losing her will always be there.
I just hope we are joined together when it’s my time to go.
