Charles Andromidas

(Joan Andromidas)

Seems like a lifetime ago, seems like yesterday.  You were always my “fun guy” and you looked at the world with rose colored glasses.  You could lay outside for hours, regardless of the weather.  You loved to play and brought joy to everyone.  You loved treats more than any dog I’ve known and I can still see your expression saying “Bacon?  Bacon? Did you say Bacon?” whenever I offered you a special treat.

You were in the first litter of purebred Lapponian Herder puppies born in the US and later went on to father an incredible litter of 7 puppies yourself.

Memories of your suffering will always remain and I wish with all my heart your last months on earth could have been joyful and not a time of suffering and pain. I pray that you’re pain free and eternally playing in heaven.

You’ll always be in my heart and soul, Mom.

P.S. – I wish I had more photos of you, but as soon as I would raise up the camera or phone, you would hightail it away.  Thankfully, I was able to sneak in a couple, although never one with you smiling.  And you did have such a happy, happy face!
