When Dr. Nicole Sheehan started Whole Pet Veterinary Hospitals in 2013, she had no idea that her unique ability to combine Eastern and Western medicine would be as big a success as it has become. In just eight years, the original Davidson, NC location has grown to eight doctors, and we’ve opened two additional locations in North Carolina and one in Florida!
Whole Pet’s particular brand of treating pets has even spread across the globe with some of our patients residing internationally! We could not be more overwhelmed with gratitude that we are able to share our integrative approach and culture with everyone.
We have found that combining Eastern and Western medicine makes for a fantastic combination, so we offer non-invasive and natural treatments, in conjunction with traditional treatments. Some of the alternative treatments we offer are acupuncture, spinal manipulation, massage, and ozone therapy. Our clients trust our multifaceted approach with individualized, integrative treatment plans that we tailor specifically to their pets.
“An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure”. Cancer, like most diseases, rely on early detection and prevention. That’s why we offer herbal supplements to support the body and recommend annual or bi-annual wellness visits that include lab work. Diet also plays a critical role in our pet’s lives, so we offer nutritional guidance for better overall health.
Whole Pet Veterinary Hospitals also treat exotics and pocket pets! We are unfortunately seeing more cases of cancers in these little creatures, so we are scaling down herbs and other treatments to benefit them as well.
