Someone abandoned Jake as a 7 pound puppy and we were lucky enough to find him. We were concerned when we found out he was a pit bull but quickly found out he had the gentlest soul of any dog we were to ever have again. Believe it or not, he never growled once in his entire life! Even when we had to amputate his front leg due to bone cancer, he ran and jumped after his ball for two more years! He gave us unending love and joy for 13 years. Our hearts have a hole that will never be filled.
