Joanne has been a friend of Yer Big Dog’s Infamous Fuzzybutts since Walk 1 so it’s quite a treat to have her in our first 10 episodes. With their Companions in Crisis Program, Fetch a Cure helps treat animals with cancer in the VA-MD area. And they do this in part through their Steel Dog Fundraiser which you should check out at https://fetchacure.org/. Joanne and FETCH brought a much needed radiation oncologist into the Richmond VA area as well as crucial infrastructure for diagnosing and treating our kids with cancer. Joanne’s a visionary and she and Ginger Morgan and I talk with her about the scourge of cancer in dogs, how they help pet parents with treatment costs, and the importance of education and awareness. ——– Show Notes: F & F is streaming at 300 mbps now that we have fiber.
