Luke and Indy are wrapping up their West Coast walk, and we hope you’ll come visit them before they leave. Better yet, why not spend an hour or two and walk with them. Culver City
ACCESS Specialty Animal Hospital
When: Monday, December 1 from 2 to 4 PM

Luke and his Great Pyrenees, Indy, will be stopping at ACCESS Specialty Animal Hospital at city of Angels. Before they begin the last leg of their journey, board-certified cardiologist, Dr. Steven Cole, will provide a free echocardiogram and EKG. And Dr. Avenelle Turner, a board-certified veterinary oncologist with Veterinary Cancer Group, will demonstrate how to do a home exam that focuses on the 10 early warning signs of cancer. West Los Angeles

Huntington Beach

Where: The Strand and The Shore Break Hotel on the patio outside U.S. Taco; 150 5th St.; Huntington Beach, CA
The Strand and The Shore Break Hotel will be hosting Luke Robinson, founder of The Puppy Up Foundation, and his three-year-old great Pyrenees, Indy, as they pass through Huntington Beach on the final stretch of their 2000 mile journey that began on the Canadian border in May and ends at the Mexican border in December. They are raising awareness about canine cancer and support for ongoing research and treatments.
