White Dog and White Dog Army Countdown to the Puppy Up New Mexico Walk to end cancer…It is Sunday, September 25th! Starts at 11am mountain time.

Here is our lineup:

11:15am until noon. Liv, music from the Indie side

11:30am until Noon. Emergency First Aid for Your Dog. A presentation by VCA emergency specialist, Dr. Welcome. Learn simple first aid & what should be in your pet first aid kit.

Noon until 12:45pm. Music by Low Ink, guitar duo

Noon until 12:30pm. Tips for Photographing Your Pet. Presented by award winning photographer, Joyce Fay. Find out how capture your furbaby’s personality and action every time.

12:30 until 12:45pm. Human Survivor Stories from the members of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Draw hope and strength from experiences.

12:45 until 2pm. Dr. Z. Wright, leading cancer oncologist provides a convocation to start off the Puppy Up Walk. Presentation of Colors by Kirtland Air Force Honor Guard and Sina-Soul.

2 until 2:45pm. Sina-Soul r&b musical stylings

2 until 2:30pm. Ask An Expert: A Q&A with Sonya Burr, ABQ’s best animal trainer from New Mexican Kennels.

2:30 until 3pm. Pet Costume Parade and Contest by ABQ Dog. Sign up to join in the fun!

3 until 3:40pm. Suzy T and Friends, Celtic eclectic music

3:15 until 3:45pm. Hiking & Camping With Your Dog. Presented by REI outdoor expert, Heather Mann. Tips on how to share experiences in the wild with your pet.

Throughout the day. Vendor’s bazaar; skill games for pups & kids; games of chance; adoption opportunities; snacks; lots of prizes!

Of course, it STARTS at 11 am; the White Dog Army will be there at 8am to supervise the transformation of an ordinary Park into the Universal Center in the Fight to End Cancer.

We can feel the energies gathering. We feel your paws joining with us. We will do you proud.
