I Fight Cancer T_Front_LilacShirt_smaller

By the end of this year the PuppyUp Foundation will have donated $500,000.00 for cancer research that benefits pets and people. Thank you so much for making this possible.

But research is just one part of our mission. We also fund awareness and education projects. Maybe you’ve seen us at pet expos, craft fairs, farmer’s markets, veterinary conferences, or you’ve seen our early warning signs of canine cancer in your vet’s office.

We are determined to reach as many people as possible to tell them that pets get cancer too. And to tell them to check their pets each month for the early warning signs of cancer.

A few years back, a volunteer had a table at her local farmer’s market. Not many people came out that day because it was cold and dreary, and even fewer stopped by the PuppyUp Table. However, the volunteer talked to all who would listen about the early warning signs of cancer. At the end of the day she felt that she may have wasted her time. A couple of days later she received a call from a lady that she had talked to that day. The woman called to thank her because when she returned home she checked her dog for lumps and bumps and found one. An appointment was immediately made with her veterinarian to examine her beloved pet. The volunteer no longer felt her time had been wasted and looked forward to her next public event, knowing she had made a difference.
