Julia
A big “WOOF” to everyone at PuppyUp. My name is Julia and I’m a thirteen year old sheltie. You may know some things about me already, or perhaps, not. I was diagnosed with a fatal disease fourteen months ago, but as the folks at PuppyUp like to say, “Cancer can’t keep a good dog down!” I’ve spent my fourteen months writing and then publishing my first novel, which is called “Final Thoughts from a Dying Zen Dog.” I know, the title sounds sad and depressing, but nonetheless, my book isn’t. In fact, it is a funny and upbeat read that’s getting great reviews. Not too shaggy (is that how you humans say it?) for a dog!
So, why am I posting this here today? PuppyUp and I are working together to get you a copy of my book at a big discount, and at the same time return proceeds to PuppyUp to help them continue their great work in funding comparative oncology research. Boy, if that isn’t a big mouthful of doggy words! I hate using more words than I have to (not true), or taking up too much space (not true either), so if you click on this link you can learn more about my book, the PuppyUp offer, and me. You’ll also get to see some great reviews and just a whole lot more.
April 25, 2015 It is with great sadness that we add this addendum to our story from Julia:
From Rich and Diane: To all of Julia’s friends and supporters of her book who have been so loving and supportive of her over the past year, I want to let you know that Diane and I had to say our final goodbye to Julia yesterday.
RIP Sweet Julia.
