“He always found a spot to lay by my side.”
This is Young, a black beagle with velvety ears and wide open big eyes. He was born in October 2005. Even though he fought several health issues since his puppy days, he lived 14 years and 7 months. He first broke his hip, he gained weight, then the seizures started, skin rashes and warts developed, and body masses grew. None of that prevented him from wagging his tail, doing the happy dance, howling at the window, knocking at the doors, sunbathing and hunting in the backyard, stealing food from the table, and jumping in the bed to cuddle up. However, he couldn’t fight cancer; he lost that sudden and expeditious battle at the end of May 2020. Up to his last days, he followed me everywhere and always found a spot to lay by my side.
